§ 01 · CANDIDATE BASELINES

Four starters, different starting points

These are neutral-nature, zero-upgrade baselines from the local source snapshot. The order follows the source candidate list, not a performance ranking. Abilities and equipment are not included.

Slowpoke

HP:110

Move: Confusion

Litten and Torchic start with the same move but have different speed and special-attack coefficients. Sobble starts with Water Gun. Slowpoke has a higher base HP and lower speed in this group. Use these differences to choose what to inspect next, rather than treating any single number as overall strength.

§ 02 · DECISION FRAMEWORK

How to choose your starter

01

Start with what you own

Check your available Pokémon and that Pokémon’s existing upgrades. Upgrades are stored per character, so changing your candidate does not transfer another Pokémon’s purchases.

02

Match the move to the setup

The three default moves covered here use special attack. A different starting move, ability or item can change the relevant conditions; the current model does not cover every combination.

03

Price the next change

Enter current and target upgrade levels to see the additional coin cost. Compare a small change first, rather than assuming every upgrade is necessary.

§ 03 · CALCULATION MODULES

Plan one change at a time

Upgrade budget

Add up the cost of moving from your current levels to your targets, with level caps and prerequisites included. For example, Attack 0→5 costs 840 in-game coins in the source snapshot.

Setup baseline

Choose a candidate and nature, then inspect how the target upgrades change the modeled stats.

Direct hit and move evolution

Explore one supported default move under explicit target and weather assumptions. Then check which conditions are missing for its evolution.

§ 04 · BOUNDARIES & SCOPE

Know what the numbers mean

The guide explains rules from a local source snapshot. Calculator outputs describe the inputs you enter; they are not predictions of overall combat performance or survival.

The local source label is 6b6bde6e28. The live game may use a different version. See the sources and calculation method for the formulas, supported inputs and omitted effects.

§ 05 · FAQ INQUIRIES

Starter guide FAQ

How should I choose a starter?▶
Compare the listed starting moves, base stats and upgrade costs with what you already own. Use the calculator to explore a specific setup. The right choice depends on your collection and priorities; the stat table does not rank overall performance.
Is this a complete Pokémon Survivor tier list?▶
No. This guide covers four starter candidates and a limited set of calculations. It compares source-backed rules and stats without assigning S–D tiers or predicting survival.
Are upgrade costs shown in real money?▶
No. Costs use in-game coins. The budget calculator adds each level’s rounded price between your current and target levels; it does not sell coins, items or upgrades.
Do permanent upgrades carry over to another Pokémon?▶
The source stores permanent upgrades separately for each Pokémon. When comparing another candidate, enter that Pokémon’s own current levels rather than treating previous purchases as transferable.
What does the damage calculator include?▶
It models one direct hit from the supported default special move, using the stated nature, upgrades, in-run cards, target defenses and weather. Abilities, equipment, temporary buffs, shields, damage over time and special bosses are outside the current model.
When is a move ready to evolve?▶
The move must reach its maximum level and the matching in-run stat card must have been taken. Permanent upgrades do not replace that card. Meeting these conditions makes an evolution candidate available; you still need to select its evolution card.
Do I need an account or a save file?▶
No account or save file is needed on this site. Enter assumptions manually in the calculator. It does not read your collection or transfer progress to the game.
Is the guide free to use?▶
Yes. The guide and the supported calculators are free to use. The developer’s game is a separate service with its own account options and policies.

Make your next upgrade a deliberate choice
