Check these before spending tickets
- Confirm the original site and intended account. Do not assume another edition shares its balances or rules.
- Choose the region containing the Pokémon you want; inspect that banner's available collection and rates.
- Check which ticket type the button spends and whether you chose 10 or 100 pulls.
- Check your regional Shiny Charm and any currently displayed event conditions.
- If using an account, wait for a working connection before pulling. Record an error before repeatedly retrying.
A recent 100-pull question reported six shinies. That is a useful probability question, not evidence that everyone's rate changed.
Normal tickets and ×10 tickets
The checked original game offers separate buttons for the two ticket types:

These are alternative costs, not both charged together. Read the selected button; a count of one ×10 ticket is not the same as one normal ticket. The October 22 announcement describes the 100-pull action as ten ×10 pulls and distinguishes its Epic guarantee from shiny results.
Check the game's current rarity and pity display for the chosen banner. A rarity guarantee, a legendary pity counter and a shiny check answer different questions. None of them should be rewritten as “100 pulls guarantee a shiny” or “every ten gives a legendary.”
Where shinies come from
The official shiny reference, checked November 5, lists these ordinary rules:

These are published rules, not measurements from Picks. A gacha rate is not the chance of a particular shiny legendary: rarity, the eligible pool and other conditions also matter. Event or port rules must be checked separately.
How a regional Shiny Charm works
Complete a region's Pokédex, including its legendaries, to obtain its Shiny Charm. The developer says the Bag shows the charms and remaining requirements. Its ordinary gacha benefit applies to the matching region, not automatically to every banner.
For example, completing Kanto is not evidence that Hoenn's banner also has its regional charm bonus. This is an editorial comparison, not a tested account. Choose a banner using the Pokémon you are missing and the displayed conditions, rather than an unsupported universal “best generation.”
Is six shinies in 100 pulls lucky?
Under a simplified model of 100 independent pulls with an unchanged probability, the numbers are:

The expectation is an average over many repetitions, not a minimum, maximum or guarantee. These examples use the binomial model: add the probabilities of outcomes 6 through 100 with n = 100 and p = 0.01 or 0.02.
They do not establish the Reddit author's exact odds. We have not verified that account's banner, charm, event state or server-side draw conditions. Do not combine a video's wild shiny encounters with its gacha pulls to calculate a gacha rate; publication date also need not be recording date.
Duplicates and collection choices
The official shiny reference says a shiny already owned is replaced with a missing shiny of the same rarity. Once all are owned, a duplicate shiny gives triple PokéCoins. Read this together with the selected banner's collection; it does not promise any missing Pokémon of any rarity.
Owning a shiny lets you select that form in the collection. This guide makes no extra stat-strength claim for the playable shiny. For coin spending after collecting a partner, use the permanent-upgrade budget guide.
Pulls fail, or the rewards look missing
Account gacha now needs a connection even when an installed browser version can open offline. Offline loading and account transactions are separate capabilities. Do not clear browser data or switch accounts as your first response to an error.
Record the time, banner, ticket type, balances before and after, and the exact message. Check the collection as well as the currency. If the result differs between devices, use the save and sync checks. Picks cannot access your account, reverse a pull or recover rewards.
For different installs, compare the original and port save systems. Beating a rift boss for a Bond is also a different task from pulling a legendary; use Rifts & Bonds for that flow.
